Theatre of War Demo Released

Today we are happy to announce the release of the Theatre of War Demo. The demo features 5 tutorial missions which cover the basics of gameplay, unit control and camera behavior as well as more advanced topics like Line of Fire and Line of Sight. In addition to the playable tutorials there is also one playable mission from the German Campaign, The Last Frontier. In this late war engagement, you are tasked to try and stem the overwhelming tide of Russian armor and infantry as they push forward into the Seelow Heights on the outskirts of Berlin.

Playable units and weapons in this battle include; MG Bunkers, Infantry, Panzerfaust 60's, RPzB 54 Panzerschrecks, PzKpfw IV 70 Jadgpanzer, Jadgtiger, PaK 40's, Hummel, Wespe, PzKpfw 38(t) Hetzer, Pz IV Ausf. H, Pz V Ausf. G Panther and the StuG IV.

So, the wait is over and after all these years you can finally enter the Theatre of War for yourself! You will find links to download from the Demo Download Page.

This one looks pretty good.

IGUK Carc Tournament

The final was played last night and after a tense 40 minutes Jernau stormed in to win the game and the competition.

Iliad

After watching the 300, which I really loved I felt I needed a game with a Greek theme. Iliad seems to fit the bill.

I haven't played it yet, thats going to happen soon but it looks like a fun, quick game. Even better it can be played in pairs.

Latest game for the Wii library. Its a fast paced racer that just misses the mark. 8/10 review is pretty much spot on.

Still allot of fun and a worth purchase.

Dexter - TV Series

Dexter

This is my new hit TV series. Its based around a blood splatter specialist working for the Miami Forensics department. Copy by day, serial killer by night. Its dark, gritty and the humour is brilliant.

I really rate this and recommend it to all. First series has finished and im just catching up, series 2 has the green light so fingers crossed I will see more of Dexter in 2007.

The Rookie - Podcast
